Here’s my advice for today: PAUSE what you are doing right now.
Take a deep breathe, and give yourself a moment to focus on what you’ve accomplished.
If you’re a driven, passionate person with big goals for your business (and I know you are!), it’s easy to get caught up in everything you want and “need” to get done.
And more than likely, you often turn to the trusty internet for advice and guidance on where to take your business next.
But that could be doing you more harm than good.
Don’t get me wrong: there are so many wonderful professional blogs out there. We are fortunate to live in a time where information is literally at our fingertips and starting a business online can happen within minutes.
But there is a downside that I think should be acknowledged, and it comes in the form of information overload.
We are bombarded with blog posts displaying advice about what we should be doing.
“5 Systems You Should Have in Place Right NOW”…
“10 Reasons You Should Be Writing a Blog”…
“12 Health Coach Blogging Mistakes that Are Costing You Clients.”
If you’re at all like me, all of this advice can make you feel a little inferior—and a LOT overwhelmed.
So this post is about another “NOW” for your business… but one that you don’t have to feel urgent or worried about:
It’s about taking a beat to appreciate what you’ve already done.
For your own sanity.

Even if you are just getting started with your business, you are DOING IT. You are taking your passions and ideas and doing something with them.
And quite frankly, if you are feeling overwhelmed from putting in so much time, it’s proof that you care. And THAT is proof that you are already on the right track.
So do me a favor, will ya? 🙂 Take a moment to appreciate what you’ve already done—big or small, whether it’s just setting up a domain name or typing up that first blog post draft.
HI FIVE TO YOU.
